My 1st Spanish Silver

Hey all,

Went hunting today. Been getting skunked since my awesome bullet finds in VA..........UNTIL NOW.

Did some research and found a park in NC that was once a plantation.....wasn't here even 15 mins and BAM.....hit a 12-34, 11-40 good tone 7" down......
My 1st Spanish Real

Special thanks to Screwynewy who gave me some pointers on searching for old sites....and for helping with iding and possible date....which I will update later on.


FOUND OUT IT IS A 1808 Spanish 1/2 Real!!!!!!!

Congratulations on you first Spanish silver. That one probably circulated until the 1830s or 40s. Hopefully your next one will have a 1700s date

Great find silver is silver but Spanish silver that's a coin of another color.
