Since very early 2014 I have been putting everything I found that is small, and has some historical significance in a display case. Just in the last two days of metal detecting I added a monogramed silver colonial silver shoe buckle, 8 colonial era buttons, a musket ball, a colonial era bronze keyhole, and a King George II Halfpenny which was turned into a Whizzer toy. This display case is limited to relics, but the King George Halfpenny that was turned into a Whizzer toy is more of important as a relic than a coin IMO (The Whizzer toy is the disk with the two holes in it) Also, I have a bunch more relics waiting to be displayed including an 1820's pewter spigot, a really old lock, a clay pipe, a pipe stem, a colonial pottery fragment, a Edwardian gilded brooch, and more.

Thanks for Looking, Coinman123

Nice work.
I really like you barrel spigot!
Where did you locate the display cases? I've been looking for some w app 3" depth for some of my larger relics.
Thanks
Peace

I love it! Put together with time, patience, and of course, LOVE

Your display case looks terrific and the spigot really showcases the other great finds as well.

Your shadow box displays really show off those finds. I just gave away a big(2feet X 1 foot) glass top shadow box because I quit collecting and my cat kept jumping on it. I saw vet bills galore when he did. Again, those are awesome...

I'm having that same problem, I only have two high quality display cases, and the spigot will not fit, so I put it in another display case where it will fit. The two big problems with the case where the spigot is in is that you need pins to close it, and everything in the case is very loose, so I hold the case incorrectly your work will be destroyed. The other two cases have a latch which makes it easier.

Coinman123,

That spigot is bad butt.

The round thing below the spigot. Is that a buckle?

Great work on something that will keep the cool finds in site And organized!
