But, then, I suspect that any detector might have found my silver today. LOL

Just a simple walk around a local school. One which I've been to many times before. Funny how
that happens, now ain't it? ;)

2015 (248).jpg
2015 (249).jpg

All these pieces came out of the same hole. They
appear to be old brass. :dontknow:

2015 (250).jpg 2015 (251).jpg

Strange sort of piece. Looks like a "holed" something or other. Any geometry majors out
there? Can you project the diameter from the arc available? LOL
I don't see any detail but my eyes wouldn't. :dontknow:

2015 (247).jpg
2015 (246).jpg

See that mini boulder in the background? This
quarter was UNDER that! Don't know how much was
me and how much was the detector but, the ground balance was at 91 and it still
found this "thru" that rock! The rock itself was a good 7 inches down. I got a VDI
of pretty much a deep quarter, around 84 but when I "milked" the signal a bit I
could actually get a 92 from time to time. One of my more interesting plugs. :)

2015 (245).jpg

Ya know? When this coin revealed itself, the sun broke out from behind the clouds, the breeze smelled
of honeysuckle and I could've sworn I heard trumpets blowing and a choir singing! :)

2015 (252).jpg

Just a smoothy but speaking for Fishy, Blingie and myself. We'll take it!
Hope your day was as pleasant. :)

Thanks for peeking!

I had to chuckle at the choir/trumpets comment. Been quite awhile since a silver quarter made itself available to me. Nice walk!

What makes it a bit neater for me is that I go to places where, to find ANY silver is a rare thing, (been hunted out). Then, somehow, it makes me feel even happier when I do. :)

Whoo-hoooo! AT Pro's in the house!

Joking aside, a quarter is always a great big surprising chunk of silver. At Pro or else.

Yeah, there's just not enough times when I hear that wonderful sound of a 92 VDI. Sometimes, I'll
just keep waving back and forth over it just to hear it for a while. :)

Thanks!

It's kinda strange. We know that our detectors are performing magic, of a sort. Seeing the invisible, right thru
the ground. But, when we find something where it had seen it right thru a solid "brick" wall, it seems impossible! :)

But, we all know that the silver coins are not what one hunts the water for anyway. ;)

Thanks!

Yeah silvers eluding me still. I had trouble just keeping the clad I found yesterday, saw lightning then I started heading for the truck a bit fast ! Managed to recover most of it later.

So your now hard rock mining the silver out! Very nice shinny silver quarter, Blingie can see himself in it! Congrats! :icon_thumright:
The metal pieces looks like a kids sherif's badge maybe.

You've a talent for finding the well hidden treasure that eluded others! Nice! :headbang:

So far All my jewelry finds are eyeball finds, not sure what's up with that. The M6 seems to be stuck in clad mode! :icon_scratch:
