My baby all grown up

she is a real looker, must take after mom, enjoy them while you can. I've got one that's 21 and one that's 6, they both love daddy at their age, it's the teenage years that really makes you wonder, and then they grow up, and you can say, yeah, it was worth it. Merry Christmas

I met a lady from Australia here in southern Cal about 15 yrs ago and helped her raise her kids. I AM a stepdad. Unfortunately we split up about 5 yrs ago. But whenever Nik comes back to the states he makes time to see me.... I guess I did ok...I have no family other than this kid...He is my best treasure. This time of year can get a little tuff. but in my heart I know he's feels like I'm his dad. I taught him how to ride a 2 wheeled bike ( training wheels and all ), I was there whenever he needed a shoulder, I taught him how to shave, and many many other dad things. I will still be there if he needs me for ANYTHING!!!! I just wanted all of you to know one thing.... Treasure YOUR family, and do whatever it takes to keep them together. Because if you lose them, you will spend the rest of your life angonizing over the greatest loss of your life. Here is a pix of Nik and me the last time he was in town back in March 07.

Definitely treasure of the best kind! I am certain he treasures you in his life as well....He would not make time to see mom's ex if you were not very special to him. What a blessing you two have been for each other! Perhaps one day you could drag him into the t-net family as well!
