My Back Yard

This is made of copper its about 1 1/2 " round and when wet you can see leaf patters on it. It was found at about 8" in my back yard.

Well,I'd guess that copper thing was in contact with leaves for years in the ground,and they left their print by chemical reaction.I've seen that on a few coins that I've found. You might try shining a flashlight at a very low angle across the coin(?) from a few directions to see if any coin type details show up.You just might shed some light on your find!
