I know it isn't much, but last week I found what I consider to be my best CRHing find... a 1905 Liberty nickel!

Obviously the condition males it of little value, so I've certainly found coins in better condition and worth more. However, this is the oldest coin I've found, CRHing or detecting, and nickel have always been my favorite coin to hunt, so this is my favorite find so far. Was good timing too, because I was at the VERY end of what I thought was going to be a skunk box!

Cool find. Worth getting excited about in any condition.

Congrats to you sir. That's a 113 year old coin found in circulation, that's good in my book.

Like you said, what makes it even more valuable is that it came from your favorite denomination...Congrats, Moose!

V nickels are so incredible different in appearance from both buffalo and jefferson nickels. They really stand out when you find them- what a great feeling! Congrats!

Great coin find! :occasion14:

A great find for you, now you can take that off the BUCKET list of CRH. Nice & congrats.
