Friday the 13th, I headed over to Tom76's neck of the woods and headed towards sultan then Mt Vernon
it was a nice day out, I was killing the Lincolns and tom was getting some more wheat's, when I got a good quarter signal, dug the target and could not believe it, my first 1910S Barber after 10 years!, after acting like a fool, I was about to cover my hole and saw another coin sitting there, no way a 1897 v nickel (2nd one this year) I jumped up grabbed my detector and swung over the hole nice and slow and still heard some chatter, sure enough a 1937 king george Canadian cent was sitting in there (third one in a week) I swung the hole one more time to make sure I got all the goods out and there was still a Lil broken chirp, tom used his pointer and said dig to the side, and boo ya there was a 37 Merc sitting there I still cannot believe all four of these coins were in one hole, it put my Silver coin total only to four for the year but Ill take it, I cannot express to any newbies out there always second and triple check your plug and hole!! oh yeah also got the lock, lighter and two more tax tokens, fake diamond stud and course about 26 zincolns.
