My best pennies bag yet 6/12/11

Ran another $50 bag of pennies through the sorter today. Yielded an incredible 2,499 coppers + 128 wheats + 11 canadian. No IHP's in this bag but there were a lot of teens and 20's wheats. I noticed a 1914 and a 1919, but didn't take the time to look at the dates on most of them. Counting the wheats, this bag was over 52% copper cents!

Sounds like someone dumped a coffee can full of pennies or coins that they had for quite awhile. Might be seeing alot more of this, with vacation season in full gear and $4 gas.

I was thinking the same. I still have one more pennies bag to sort before I get more this week. I dumped all of the zincs in one bag (about $57.50) and will run them through the counter today at the bank that won't sell me bags
