My best Silver day with my new Etrac! One 1910 Barber, a 1943 Mercury, 1963 quarter, 2 rosies and several Wheaties. My best silver in a very long time, heck maybe this Etrac thing might work out after all. One 1910 Barber, a 1943 Mercury, a quarter, a couple of dimes and several Wheaties. My best silver in a very long time. The signal was all over the place so after the first silver, I dug all good targets. Some dimes hit at 9- and even up to 18-? Maybe it was the wet soil conditions. I only lightly hunted the area, I'm slowing way down when I get back. The relics are from another older area, I had really expected some exciting finds since the area has some history. It was wet and cold so I didn't hunt too hard, but plan to really beat the area when I get a chance. The relics look to be a luggage handle, 2 old shot shells (I'll have to clean them to see what is stamped), maybe a boot strap and possibly a rifle/pistol sight.
