My dad found his first big copper, toasted though

Me, dad, and wife went for a short hunt and we didn't find much but my dad got his first large copper, colonial looking kg2 maybe, my dad used to hunt in the 80s, and he just got a whites vx3 and been coming with me some. What is this 2 ring bullet with solid base?
