Got out this morning for about 3 hours. Parked the truck crossed the ditch to the other part of this big corn field. Got an iffy hit right away can slaw. So I work my way to this high spot I want to hunt. I'm about 300 yds from the truck and realize I don't have my small digger. Luckily I can follow my trail in the dew. I back track and sure enough there's my digger at the first hole. I think crap I'll just work this piece up the edge of field. Didn't take 2 steps and hit the half reale, few more steps and find the lock. Long story short keep gridding up the field and find the merc and 1 reale and other stuff. All this because I left my digger. Sometimes it pays to be old and forgetful. Good luck to all. Art
