races to meet me, knowing im going to play with
him or hoping im going to take him home with me.

Cute kitten. I've caught 2 yellow tigers, similar to that one, and have given one of them away so far. I never cared much for cats years ago and then we got one here at work. Had him here for over 10 years and he taught me how smart cats can really be. Sounds like you want to steal that one.

Every orange striped, male kitten I've seen has been bigger and more outgoing, and more playful. Is this common?

about a month ago we lost our female cat
to cancer and i think claws ( the kitten )would
make a fine addition to our home.
