It doesn't really matter what it looks like, as long as it's full of coffee.

Here's a good one. It holds a lot.

Haha! No, I know, I was just laughing at myself because I thought it would be a pic of a person. Then I opened it and

Well, this is a special favorite mug, I keep it by the computer with odds and ends in it. This mug was given to my Dad back in the 80's. He was a known outdoor educator at Nolde State Forest Education Center , who specialized in teaching children mostly about turtles and other wildlife and plants.
I was given this mug after he passed away and in 1995 I had a house fire that destroyed most of the goods in the upstairs attic,(besides the house) including the box containing several of these gift mugs he received over the years. This mug fell down thru the burned out ceiling and I found it in the charred remains with the other mugs, this is the only mug to survive that fire and fall and I will make darn sure I have it for a long time to come and eventually pass it on to my grandson.

Don

Growing up as a child, I remember how many things in stores said "Made In Japan" rather than China. So, my best mug is Japanese made.

Wow Hoss, your mug has speckles on it also...check the mug bottom in my photo, has speckles (sides do also, not too visible here) but they are smaller. Is that perhaps an oriental mug finish?
