Hey everybody, I never posted anything here so I thought what the heck. The site I wanted to detect is a CW skirmish site, but it's thick so I'm gonna wait to the fall. Bout 300 yards west of the site, here is what I found. The first is a what is it which is posted in that forum. Next is a Bennett news stand token, 1892 Indian cent, 1902 indian cent, both which I cleaned a little, 1945 merc dime and last is what I'm calling my heart broke token. When I first seen the eagle I thought it was a old coin, but then I seen the No Cash Value and, well,....heart broken. Also found 9 wheat cents and what I thought was a silver spoon.....heart broken again. I didn't post the wheats nor the spoon because all I have at the moment is a scanner. Thanks!

Still nice finds anyway :happy3:

that is a good hunt in my book! congrats!

I know EXACTLY what you mean about the token. I dug 9 out of one hole a couple of summers ago. For about 30 seconds I thought I really had something until I cleaned them off and saw the No Cash Value.

Still great finds.

Very nice hunt. Some good finds you got there.

nothing makes my heart sink faster than those types of "no cash value" gaming tokens... Found one over the weekend on what used to be an early 1900's farm... seeing that eagle wrapped in stars, having no idea what i just found, then flipping it over and seeing "No cash value"... :laughing9:

Those are some great finds GaDigger81! :notworthy:

You should post more often! :icon_thumright:
