I found this with a 1938, 1939, 1944P in a nickel box yesteday. The pics are the best I could do, the pillars are full and clear as the steps

Congrats on the great find! I found a couple of nice '50D's a couple of years ago w/partial steps probably in VF - XF condition. I bet a good % of the ones that can be found in circulation today have just fairly recently come from someone's collection which makes finding them even better.

Sure seems like a lot of nice nickel finds lately - hope I can find something really good myself soon too. Im still looking for my first V. Seems like a lot of those are showing up lately too. That's one of the good things about nickels - the different variety of keepers u can find.
