My first Barber Dime

Hit my own yard again for a short time along the fence line where I have detected before. Found a handful of clad coins, 2 old keys-the one on the left is a (Hurd Lock and Manufacturing - Greeneville Tennessee - For General Motors Cars), and a first metal detecting find for me - an 1899 Barber dime in pretty good shape.

Found my first Barber dime in December, have found two silver dimes since then, both Barbers! Waiting on seated now, but I'll take a Barber any day! Congrats.

Thanks all! In my own yard now along with many early wheat cents and about a dozen Indian head cents I also have found an 1865 2 cent piece, an 1888 seated Liberty dime, and a 1789 2 reales. Will continue looking.

Great job. All the posts you have showing what you found on your property blows me away. All I can find is weeds and ant hills with an occasional mix of worthless iron from some dump site. Keep going strong!!...Brad

Found my first the beginning of the year then a second one a few weeks ago, now it's time for a seated..
