My First Big Hunt

Today I went to my local BOA where I had ordered my first box of halves. I ended up with a huge plastic bag of halves from brinks. I was a little dissapointed with my skunk bag that I then had to hand roll to return. I've been searching loose halve rolls for weeks in my area but I have yet to find any silvers. So now I am going to give a brinks box of quarters a shot tonight wish me luck!!!!

No im in central Florida Orlando area. A lot of the banks Ive been to say they either have people that come in religiously to collect halves already or they simply dont order them. Anyone else from central FL having any luck?

I'm in Orlando as well...Haven't had much luck in the area ever, really. I have much better luck in other parts of the state.

Skunked on the box of quarters but I did find a quarter from the Bahamas. Doing a box of dimes and nickels today wishing for better results.

I will give you a very simple hint. Head south and stay inland, do not go to either coast.

Im glad to say that todays hunt was not in vain I searched a box of dimes and nickels and found 1985p error dime and a 1944p War Nickel!!! This has totally validated my efforts and I will be hunting again come Monday.

the B of A where I live gets Brinks half bags also and the one time I ordered them I got skunked also. I mainly just hunt dozens of different banks for halves in cwr's and loose coins but I just ordered a garda box from another bank last week so I'll see what kind of luck I have with those and I might consider ordering another Brinks bag from B of A to see if I might have better luck at those.
