I sure had a nice surprise when I stopped @ a bank on my way home from work on Friday. I was in the drive-thru and I asked for any half dollars and the teller told me no one had any halves but they had one big dollar coin. I almost didn't buy it but I said ahhhh.......I guess since I'm here I might as well get it (thinking it would just be another clad Ike). The teller put the coin in a tapped envelope so I didn't even realize what I had till I was driving down the road a minute or so later....and I couldn't believe what I saw.....my first circulated ASE. A 1 oz. silver bullion coin bought @ "face value" for $1?
It's truly amazing how clueless people are about real money. They would rather have a worthless piece of fiat currency that is nothing more than a non-interest bearing debt note from a country that is not only broke but the largest debtor nation in the history of the world than an ounce of pure silver which is REAL money. Well once again other people's ignorance and loss is my gain.
