Got out today with a guy who took me to a couple of places around a battle site that has been hunted hard over the years. He still gets stuff. First stop I found my first bullet, I think. He said he thought it was a piece from the inside of a cannon ball but it looks like a bullet that has been shot. What do you all think? Went to the actual battle site and first thing he does is pull a button out of the ground. We proceeded up the hill to where he said the cannons had been. He picked up a round ball from a pistol. We spent most of the day with him showing me where everything had been. My big butt is worn out. I had a ball. Can't wait to get back out there. After cleaning, I found what looks like a cross carved into the bullet. I am sure it is coincidence but who knows. Can you tell I am excited by all the pics of the same bullet?
