My first class ring, help needed

Looking for some help on this one. This is my first class ring find and would love to return it. I believe it is the Palmetto texas brownsville high school and there are legible initials inside. Just dont really know how to go about it further. I seem to remember people talking about a member on this forum who is really good at tracking these things down. Any help would be appreciated.

One more thought........ Have you checked out Brownsville, South Carolina? I ask because South Carolina is called the Palmetto State and there probably is a high school in that town.

My apologies on the size of the ring. I think i am the one that suggested it was a man's ring. By the size of the picture I assumed it was a man's ring. Next time when posting pictures . A small coin next to the item sure helps

If it is a females ring that will be a lot tougher. You will have to find out from someone that knew her and could give you a rundown on her life. (Marriages and such)

Well i have exhausted any avenue i know of. Feel free to try.
Class of 1955, smallish ring (female?)
Initials MJV.
