Went out to the fields of Legend yesterday with South Jersey Jim and Arty facts. Well it didn't dissapoint. We tried a couple of new fields and I am so glad that we did. I found my very first cob. I have to put some pics up on the cobb forum to see what I actually have! What a rush I can tell you!!!!!!!!!!!! When I left home I just wished that I would find something I haven't found before. Going to use that technique everytime I go out now
I also found an 1828 large Cent, 2 wheatties, a "Deputy Marshal Badge." A partial heel plate, 2 copper rings, a piece of jewelry with a stone, a silver thimble, a 3 ringer bullett, 19 buttons and a bunch of lead balls and lead. Day started a bit slow but what an ending! I have to give Arty a call and make sure that he got out of there alright. We left while there was still a little light left. Arty may still be there Can't wait to see what he found.
