My first CONFEDERATE button! I think its a good one

Found my first Confederate button Saturday! It's a block R (rifleman)! Backmark is W. Dowler Superior Quality. The button was in a totally unexpected homesite. If this is at this homesite, I wonder what else lies beneath the soil of surrounding sites. This is why I look forward to being able to drive next year (so I can detect more sites) haha!

thanks! I agree. 3 minutes after taking it out if the wet soil it turned into the color it is now due to the red clay it has been in for the last 150 years. When water is applied it turns into a great color.
