hi all

I just went yesterday to the abandoned house I told you about and found the following coins in 3 hours, I will go back again soon. Now I know why you love to go hunting, it is so exciting to find something nice.

Do I use vinegar to clean them? They are Mexican coins, I could only see a date in one of the coins from 1934.

Nice first finds....Congrats!!!!

If there are power lines in the area you are hunting, they could be making your ACE go crazy. You might hunt in coins and lower your sensitivity down to 3 or 4 notches.

If that doesn't work, you may want to look at a Min Lab metal detector. They are great in high minearl area's.

Good Luck, Ringfinder

Olive oil works well on the coppers, good luck. Tsgman

From the land of the Bluenose...nice outing there young un. As for cleaning coins you can just leave as is or use a paste made of cream of tarter and vinegar. Happy hunting.
