My First Flying Eagle...1858

I dug five generations of Penney's today.Got my first flying eagle.A Indian head cent.Four wheat's.Some Lincoln memorials and some zinc memorials.I also found a 1945 merc that was cut in half. :'(
This site has been good to me its a park with some digging of the deeper kind then i go in there and clean up


1-1858 flying eagle
1-1864 Indian head
1-1924 wheat
1-1948 wheat
1-1956 wheat
1-1957 wheat
1-1945 merc

I've noticed that for some reason many of these are being found today. It's kind of odd seeing the type was minted for such a short time.

maybe because of the detectors we got today go deeper? just a thought :-\
