French coins in colonial America(or just after) are an awesome find. Ive only got two but both were from the same site and they were both 17th century

I found this unknown coin at a early farm property definitely a early 1700s farm maybe earlier the coin guy looked at it and although in rough shape he said his best guess would be a 1600/1700 French coin . Still remains a mystery if anyone knows feel free to comment probably my earliest coin and I don’t even know it lol first picture it looks like there is writing in the circular part
