Newbie to this site gets out for the first time this year........

Decided to take the day off, as Spring has finally arrived! Temps shot up into the 70's here today, with the ground still soft and saturated. Perfect hunting conditions.....
Just getting out was great. My finds were simply a bonus.
Hunted a 1921 home. Several good finds. No date Buffalo (I've yet to find one with a readable date). 8 wheaties, the oldest being a 17 S (fills a hole in my found wheaties book). A 52 D rosie, a 43 D merc, a neat silver ring, a KC trolley token,a Veterans tag of some sort? Any Ideas? Is it just a key chain job that was issued to military?. And finally, the worlds smallest baby carriage, complete with working top, and rolling wheels.
Thanks for looking......
Regards,
Jules

Nice finds.

I wonder if the owner of the Ford that those keys go to, is waiting for them to come back so they can drive home and use those other keys to get in the house? :D

You said that your wife has taken ''possession'' of the charm and ring...well you're gonna get a ticket for ''possession'' if you get caught with that hitter.HA! Nice finds!

I'm called the "key master" by my hunting buddies. Seems I alway come home with a handful of keys........ yes, definitely Ford. The others didn't fit the house. One of them had a bandaid wrapped around it, with alum. foil over the top. Strange........

thats funny. I guess my choice of the word "possession" is wrong, considering one of the items in the pic. :-)

Nice to see you made it out Jules - still snow on the ground here, but it's shrinking!!! Nice finds and your already on the silver train! WTG - Hawkeye Jim.

The train has left the station late this year. Last year at this time, I already had 15 silvers under my belt.
Your snow should go-away very soon. They're actually calling for temps in the 70's tomorrow, and low 80's!! on wednesday.
Looking forward to some post finds from you........

Sweet finds.
I can't wait to find some silver this year. The ground finally thawed here in Illinois as well.
Went out and hunted the other day and found 5-dimes, 1-quarter and of course about 6 Abes, and some strange clamp.
Have fun finding more.

It was worth the day off! 8)

That's one hunt worth waiting for in my book. Nice haul.

Is the carriage silver? Looks like it. Good find!

I don't think so. It registered very low on the VDI scale. It has writing on the bottom, but I can't even read it with a loop.
My wife has already made claim to it for her charm bracelet. Actually, she's taken "possession" of the ring as well :-)

I bet it is silver. If you could read the words on its bottom, I'll bet you'll find it's a collectible piece, maybe worth some coin!

You were right. It is silver, though I don't think it's worth much, as it says "mexico Sterling" on the bottom. Still, silver is silver!

All right! That's lots better than aluminum, and it's also a nice, cute little collectible charm. Congrats!
