HI Guys,
I went to a Northern California beach last Saturday. SO much garbage (including rusty nails from burnt pallets!), but I also found neat things!
See the pictures.
1. my first ring, not worth much I dont think but..ITS A RING!
2. an Israeli older Sheqel 1981-1985
3. a tiny restroom token from Indianapolis, Indiana. Says "Nik-o-Lok" on the top!

I cant wait to go back to the beaches!

Very cool Jen! Congrats!

Neat stuff. Kind of had a flash back there with the token. I seem to recall going someplace as a kid, and having to put a coin in the door to use the toilet.
Welcome to Tnet.

Thank you for sharing your hunt with us. Good finds and welcome. Looking forward to seeing you post some gold soon.

Welcome to the forum and congrats on your finds

Congrats on your ring - Israeli Sheqel and R/R token and thanks for sharing your pictures and story with us - I wish you many more great finds while out dirt fishing.

What kind of machine do you have? With the iron trash I am guessing a PI?

Gold will come. Patience, lots of swinging and learning your detector. Congrats on your first ring and may many more find their way into your scoop

Congratz on your first ring! The Israeli coin and token are super cool!

I love beach hunting. You just never know what the next beep is going to be. It could be a bottle cap, or a penny, or a junk earring, or a $13k diamond ring! (I personally have not found a $13k diamond ring, but it could happen :tongue3:)

I love beach hunting but it's different- for sure. Especially when you're used to digging in hard clay all the time

And a sun and heat can be brutal

Nice finds and good luck in the future

Congratulations on your first ring.
Tag it, date it, & keep it in a special place.

I have a Garrett Ace 250. :) I have to figure out how to set it up so it doesn't show up AS much garbage as bottle caps:)
This was only my 5th time out, and first beach, having a BLAST!

Congratz!

My first...(and only, as yet) ring wasn't worth much either, but it was my first RING. Great feeling, huh?

What area in Nor-Cal?

The San Jose area... (45 Min from San Francisco )
