I have also found only one IH , it was a 1872. I love the green color. Im guessing they all turn that color. anyway congrats on a great find

Nice way to start off with the IH's. Usually it's the more common 1900's ones. Oldest one I have found has been 1875. I'm sure many more will come. Good luck.

Nice early Indian Head. Hope that you are able to find many more. I've been actively hunting for about 3 years now, and I've only found one so far (1892). Found it on my first trip to a park, after practicing in my back yard. Man, I thought, this is so easy that I'lll be finding them every time out (lol). We all live and learn.
