MY FIRST MERC!!!!!!

[JJS NEW ENGLAND]

FOUND MY FIRST MERC YESTERDAY. ITS A 1941 IN DECENT SHAPE. AN 1874 INDIAN HEAD PENNY THE DAY BEFORE AND NOW THIS.

My first Mercury Dime was a turning point in my MDing. After almost 16 years I still remember it clear as day. Previously I had been primarily interested in hunting parks and the occasional yard (parks in my area were pretty well worked out even back then). After I started finding old silver, I realized I would no longer be content with this type of hunting and started doing a LOT of research and hitting only older sites. Excellent work on your first Mercury dime. I wish you many more to come.
