My first piece of 8 and some other good's
Been awhile since I've detected with the Virginia weather being the way it was. Finally me and my son tried to hit an old house spot that's on the civil war maps so I stopped and asked the farmer if he knew where it was and he pointed us in the right direction. To our surprise though we never made it to the house site we hit a pretty good little spot before the rain hit us pretty hard
found a few cool little things piece of smashed lead, nice little brass buckle , forked tongue off another , a shot civil war bullet, first hole was this coin
not sure what it is and of course the dates unreadable but my favourite find was my second hole and my first piece of 8
now maybe next time we'll make it to that house site. Thanks for looking
