My first piece of 8 and some other good's

Been awhile since I've detected with the Virginia weather being the way it was. Finally me and my son tried to hit an old house spot that's on the civil war maps so I stopped and asked the farmer if he knew where it was and he pointed us in the right direction. To our surprise though we never made it to the house site we hit a pretty good little spot before the rain hit us pretty hard IMG_20150314_134914_165.jpg found a few cool little things piece of smashed lead, nice little brass buckle , forked tongue off another , a shot civil war bullet, first hole was this coin IMG_20150314_135227_868.jpg not sure what it is and of course the dates unreadable but my favourite find was my second hole and my first piece of 8 IMG_20150314_135514_320.jpg IMG_20150314_135337_466.jpg now maybe next time we'll make it to that house site. Thanks for looking

Nice finds. Your copper looks like a William III which would date it around 1700. Normally the reverses are very worn. Any detail at all on the reverse? Sweet Spanish silver as well. Congrats.

Thanks guys, that little silver took me a minute digging through all the mud and I almost tossed it thought it was a piece of shredded can. Evolution very little detail on reverse only letters I saw were NIA on the right side I'll try to get pics of the back

Great finds! My favorite kind of day coppers and Spanish silver but you threw in a cw bullet and buckles to top it off. Congrats on a awesome hunt. I would to had to staid no matter how wet I got. I got soaked after work today just to get one Indian. HH!
