Hello Everyone,
This is my first post on T-net, and I’m pretty excited about it. After hiking some serious hills this past week, and enjoying some spectacular land with truly wonderful people, I have aching muscles, and a VA State Seal Button to show for it. I truly did not expect this, for the week began slowly for me, in the way of finds. We’d returned to a spot that exuded history. Take out a few choice tractors, and cars, and it was exactly as it had been 150 years ago.

My first great find at the last hour was an intricate, silver plated buckle, what I believe to be a woman’s sash buckle, held at her waist.

This other buckle is a product of Rodeo’s, same place, same time. We were excited to see both come out of the ground!

And here are photos of the Virginia button (a non-dug example appears first):

I had a great time with the Iron Brigade earlier this week, and hope there will be more times to be had. These two ROCK with machines in their hands, and I can’t thank them enough for teaching me what they know.

Best Wishes & Love, “ Prof. Lady “

P.S Seriously, Bonzaibrandi
