I got out to the beach for 5 1/2 hours today and found my first rings of 2015.I hunted from 10:30 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. with the Ace 250, finding about a dollar in clad coins. Then,I began searching with the Excalibur 2 . After 50 minutes hunting the wet sand,I found my first wedding band.It has nothing stamped in the band. Then 3 minutes later,I scooped up a size 15 stainless steel band.It looked like we had some beach erosion,so I will go there again next week.Even though they rings aren't silver of gold,I am still happy to have found them.HH every one. Thanks for looking. 100_1834.JPG

Nice rings... Just wondering why you use the Ace when you have an Excal. Is the Ace better in the dry sand or maybe lighter? Sounds like you're in a good spot. Congrats. :icon_thumleft:

I like using the Ace 250,in dry sand, because it is lighter and I enjoy the target I.D. feature.

I know what you mean. I never had target ID on my land machine. I have a CZ7a Pro and never thought I wanted it. I got the F75 with digital number ID and I love it. I would hate to be without it now. HH
