MY FIRST SILVER!!

It's so hard for me to dig during the week with work and just being all around busy. But today I had to drive by the place where I found 62 coins over the weekend, and I just couldn't pass it up. I stopped the first time and the weather was cruddy - rain and high winds. I stayed about 10 minutes and found a dime and a few pennies.

On the way past the same place in the afternoon I again had about 10 minutes to dig. I hit a few pennies, then a hole with two dimes on top of each other, another penny, penny, penny, dime, penny. I was just getting ready to leave and said (as I'm sure we all have many many times) 'just one more dig' and BAM! I pull out this ring. I pushed the mud out of the middle with my pinkie and staring at me from inside is 925 and then a few letters I can't make out. I'm having a hard time waiting for the weekend, enjoy the pic - I think I'm getting a little better with the camera - hopefully I keep improving.

20 minutes - 13 pennies, 4 dimes, 1 silver ring, and 1 2xl hooded sweatshirt (poor abandoned soul was soaking wet but in otherwise great shape - it's in the washer as we speak)

WooHoo your truly hooked now great going on the Silver ring it sure looks nice.

A hint on the pics if i may, when taking a pic of jewlery or coins dont use the flash, you could either take then outside in the sunlight or use a table lamp for the light try to get the light at a 30 degree angle from your target.

Thata a pretty good looking ring. I love the tone my detector gives me when there's silver under the coil. Music to the ears.

Nice Irish design on the Wilver...Way to go!!! I have yet to find my first ring...found a few old coins, and silver coins, even one steel cent, but no jewelry...

nice finds.
my best find is a 5 megapixle didgital zoom with macro while on the hunt
it was like new and even came with an extra set of batteries....LOL
i was un able to lacte owner after 1 month
