My first.... skunk

Well, picked up one of my weekly boxes of halves today. Complete skunk - my first. The halves were machine wrapped, but most of them seemed to be someone else's dumps; a large percentage were marked in some way.

The thing I can't figure out is that 2 weeks ago I got a box of MWR's from this same bank, finding 15 x 40%'ers. Last week, same bank, same type of box, got 2 x 40%, plus 2 NIFC's. This week, zip. Almost seems completely random.

Any thoughts?

That's because it is completely random! They don't control what coins are being dumped in the bin to get rolled. Could be dumping bags with 0 silvers or 500 silvers.

If you search enough boxes you will get more skunks than you care to admit lol.

your 1st skunk is always hard, but the 1st time you get 5 or 6 skunks in a row, your always about to give up, then that 6th or 7th box gives up many silvers, and you stick with halves for the rest of your life and never give up...hope you break the 'streak' with your next box! keep it up and hh! Its all part of the game. You will get many more if you keep doing this. Just dump them and look for more. Good luck and HH.
