Thought i'd hit this one site i looked over last month. the ground was too hard to dig back then. started on the baseball field and did not find too much...then the rain started to come down pretty good, so i made my way into some woods nearby.. i was about 50 feet from my vehicle and was about to pack it up for the day...got a strong signal..a 57 VDI which i usually don't dig..well i kept going over the target and it kept saying 57..so i dug it...surprised to see a IH penny...made my day...three feet from the IH next to an old tree, i got a strong quarter signal at 5",,, had to dig under some big roots to finally find the target. saw the eagle first and knew i had a SLQ..wish i could see the date...worked my way around the tree and got the 1912 & 1909 Wheats...will have to get back to that spot again..soon

thought the Harmonica was pretty cool since i only been finding parts of them...this one still has the inside wood

NICE find. SLQ's are fun to find. I found only one last year.

Good deal - St. Libs are hard to come by,

good find , very hard to find , i only found 1 in 3 years , and no date as usual.

So that's what a full harmonica reed looks like. :icon_scratch: Mine are always bits and pieces, never a full one.
Congrats on the SLQ, and all of you great old coins.

That's just awesome..a SLQ is on my wish list. Make sure you check that 1909 for VDB or "S" mint mark!

Nice going

Nice Standing Liberty Quarter and nice haul!

Nice finds,

I got a SLQ yesterday about 50 ft from my car also. Mine was in AU condition. Very rare to see them in any kind of shape.
