Went back to our latest site for a quick hunt yesterday afternoon. Didn't find much but it still amazes me how a site can continue to give up finds. Dug this 1867 three cent piece in an area I know we've hunted over dozens of times! Just when you think you've hunted a site out it gives up some more! Thanks for looking and hope everyone had a great weekend.

Thanks Davers. It rang up like a small piece of lead would. I dig them even though I know what it is but a small cuff button fooled me one day, ringing up the same just like that three center did! I don't dig all signals (probably should!), but on a site like this one 40 and up gets dug! Thanks again!

Don't know how the VDI #'s Calculate on the AT Pro, but I once found a Flatt-end GS Eagle Button that Rang up between 10-15 (10..Mostly). On a Field test a Nickel will give a Solid 21 VDI 'if it's deeper its bouncy ,hitting 21 every third or fourth swing'. FWIW Flat Ketchup packs give a solid 10.

Just thinking .. If one uses TDI ,GPX one would be Digging everything (As long as it sounded Deep).

My xlt is over 10 years old ,it still finds stuff & I still seem to learn more about it everytime out. (In diff, soil conditions of course). Lately in my CW sites ,I been running All metal (by the trigger) & finding Ill get a deep hit that in normal 'Relic Mode' the machine barely chirps & jumps between an Iron Signal,+5, +20 etc , Then ill take about 5 inches of Pine straw ,leaves & top soil then that # 55 , 57, 58, low 60's telling me lead Minnie (most likely) usually about 4-6 inches Deeper.

I feel a Whoop , I mean an upgrade VDI Capable machine Coming on. T2se or F75 se. I'm thinking Right Now
Sorry I'm Ranting on yr post.

Yea once been using the atpro since I started a few years ago and still learning it! I've been thinking of upgrading too. Haven't seen a machine in person that has sold me yet but have heard a lot of good about the Deus. Still anxious to see one perform in person. So far though, I've been very pleased with my atp. Thanks and good luck

Cool looking 3 center......were still waiting out this way for ours! :BangHead:

Awesome congrats :)

Nice work Darby, rarely see those posted. Glad to see there is a few surprises left in that dirt
Thanks Jon! Yep still a few treasures left out there! Good luck to y'all down on the coast!

Congratz on a great bucket lister! It's in pretty good shape to be the nickel one!
