Woke up early and worked on my new old boat, 1996 sixteen foot Carolina Skiff. The weather was much cooler, but the humidity is in the 90% range. I was rebuilding the hubs on the trailer and was very sweaty, decided at 3:00 pm to go for a dip at my honey hole. second target was this 1911 V nickel, my first ever. If you have noticed I have been asking for this for awhile.

I then chased a few targets and came up with the two rings, it was cold but I kept hitting good 50's signals and I gritted my teeth (to stop them chattering) and kept hunting. I finally got to another 50ish target and like the rings it was deep. I was in water up to my chin (I'm 6 ft tall) Finally after digging Approximately 18 " I look in the scoop and there was a Indian buffalo(1928) in there. I checked the hole and heard a blast high tone, up comes a 1945 Quarter, then another mid scratchy tone, another buffalo Indian(1927). I lasted about an hour then left. I'm a very happy hunter, but still cold!
Enjoy the pix, HH & GL

It's so much fun, I got hooked immediately!

I'm sure once I reach that point I too will be hooked.

I swear, this hobby is more like an actual obsession with me. the only thing that even comes close is when I got into playing guitar when I was about 12.

I'm beginning to wonder if this is normal or if I'm finally cracking up.

Nice coins, and rings! when I try to clean my nickels, they look like the surface of the moon!

Just starting out water hunting but the Pro does it right. Congrats on the finds
