Today I found my first wheat - actually 4 of them. I know that is not a big deal to a lot of you guys but to me it is awsome. I have been detecting for less than a year and I am still in the learning stages of this terriffic hobby.
I am finally learning the MXT I think. My wife bought me the 4x6 DD coil this weekend and today was my first day using it - I was detecting in my in-laws front lawn, which used to be a large peach orchard. I have detected there several times before and only found clad - today I only had about 30 minutes to detect and this is what I found.
Lots of clad and then the good stuff - a 1956 wheat, my daughter dug it out, a very good 1941, a bent 1953 and my favorite, a very worn 1911!!!
Now I just have to find more time to go back and find the silver!!! Thanks for looking guys.
