My Forte'

Well, after all the rain here the other day 4" +, I decided to check out behind the shop where I had set up the screen a while back. I was able to hunt for about an hour. Hey, sometimes an hour or less is all you need. ;) There's still a lot of big washers, big nails and screws just subsurface. I got a # of signals which were junk but was able to separate a few of them. One swing would be scratchy and the next swing was solid---the detector went back and forth like it couldn't decide what the target was. A few of these targets were actually laying right on the surface and others were down a couple of inches.

There are 2 mems, 3 wheaties--1935D, 1942, 1957D, a merc 1943, a 1942D Washington, a dateless Buffalo, a plastic dog (I think it's a Cracker Jack), and my Forte'.
Ya'll have a good day, HH!, and thanks for lookin'.

Nice finds Stoney
Some of those old crackerjack toys can be worth bucks! Looks like a challenge though going through all that stuff!

Re: My Forte'

Congratulations on all the great finds. You should be finding a cat not a dog. Meow! ;)

Re: My Forte'

Great finds. It's always hard to sort thru junk. I usually wind up digging it all up so I don't miss anything.

I recently found a token"Good For 50 in Merchandise" on the face and Sheppard Grocery,Alva, Oklahoma on the other side. Are you close to Alva. I may venture that way some day and try to find out something.
