Thank you all I have been in his room since his life support has been removed, what was to take a few hours has and will take a few days. He is still nonresponsive and apparently his body is not ready to have shut down. Personally I feel he is just showing everyone one last time how stubborn he is and gonna be.

Pray for his wife as she can not stay long beside him before she has to leave, ask for God to give her strength to stay. Pray for his sister and other family members to have understanding on how folks grieve differently as mainly the sister is not happy with his wife not being totally at his bedside and it is causing friction some.

Pray for me as I clean up and head back to be by my friend and assist as needed in his comfort. Like I have been using ice to help control (lower) his temperature and relieve discomfort

Hang tough,buddy.My prayers for comfort are still there.I can understand about his wife.It is so difficult to watch and wait.I've told all of mine not to do that.I know I have their love and I don't want them to have that burden of watching me go,especially if I'm not even able to know they are there.Some people,his wife,has to grieve in her way and that might be not to have anyone around when word is given.She's probably holding a lot inside and doesn't want it to spill out in front of everyone.I pray that his sister can understand.

Bobby prayers are still with your friends wife - to be able to grieve the way she needs to with out worry about what it looks like to his family
and for his mother and sister to not blame God and to understand his wifes love for him and how much she is hurting. And prayers for you, to give you strength to be strong enough for her, to be able if HE choses to put the right words in your mouth for the family, and to be able to grieve yourself!
Remember you have alot of friends on here praying for the family, you, and your friend . Any time you need ---- you can pick up the phone you got the #

Thank you all again, I am just home for a bit to feed my critters and make sure they know they are loved too

My friends wife does need prays badly, she comes and leaves is all, just pray for her to have healing and to understand that God is the life rope she needs to lean on. It is how she is handling it and looking for answers in the wrong places like a drunk looks for his. Only she is an addict.

Pray for me as I try to be there for her and let her know folks and him believe in her and her being clean. Yet I try to maintain his quality of comfort and really have no legal right. I have mood swings from hurt sadness and tears to anger and mad. I have read God's word and been in His arms

I can't thank you all enough

Just remember--what you do for your friend, you do for Him. The mood swings are understandable and so are the frustrations the family faces. All you can do is point them in the right direction, they have to take the steps. Peace and comfort my friend. Prayers continue.

Thank you all, my friend went home yesterday around 5 pm CST. Been a tough week and still have a few more days on this rodeo before I start to rope her in. Wheels in place to do an intervention once my buddy is layed to rest. TY again for the prayers

I have been following this,
I must say we have had you and your friends in our prayers since we found this post.
Very hard to loose a close friend like this.

I hope you all will take some time out for your selves when it's all over.

BEF, I am so very sorry, I was in the exact same position as you, I know what your going thru.. if you ever need to vent, laugh or cry, I will be there to listen, as it still breaks my heart on my best friend who left two years ago, I have not been the same since. And I mean it with all my heart, I am just a email or phone call away.. I will be remembering you in my prayers during the rest of all this.. My heart goes out to his wife as well... like I said, am here if you want a shoulder to lean on..

yeah that is true lol

Thank you all from the bottom of my heart I sincerely do mean that, losing him is hard but I am a true believer in God and His promise of those who believe in Him and that Jesus as His son, died for us on the cross that day and washed away mine and the worlds sins from the past, present and future from His blood being spilled. Those who believe will not perish bu have everlasting life.

I know my friend is in his mansion that was prepared for him.

I need prayers for his spouse on how to get her to see that she is looking in the wrong places for her answers. Hopefully she is caught and picked up before she is found in a gutter or dead herself. I know she is mad at God for taking him away from her. And I understand that feeling I do.
