When we loose someone as close as that...
We all will deal with it in our own way.

I pray that someone will find her and explain,
that God doesn't allow anything to come to pass in our lives,
that we are not strong enough to bear.

We all need to remember that one.
He is always there to lean on.

Good Luck with your intervention or what ever you are able to do to help her, prayers are for that and his family!

And Bobby take care of yourself do not make yourself sick with worry over this, do what you must but put her in HIS hands, I dont want anything to happen to you! things are hard for you and her and the drugs have clouded her vision, so give her the help you are able to give with out inabling the situation, we are still praying for God to do his work on all of it!

I feel for you and my prayers are with you and his wife. It is a tough thing to do and accept when you remove the life support. I went through this a few months ago with my uncle and it took 10 days. Very sad. His wife did not accept anything and was a total mess. Which I understand. An odd thing happened at the grave side service we couldn't even get her out of the car, finally we did and you could tell that during the service it was like a weight lifting off of her. I don't know how else to describe it and I thought it was just me until the funeral director approached me and asked if I noticed the change. That it happens all the time they are crazy with grief and then some how during the service the mind accepts it and a peace settles over them. This doesn't mean they won't grieve for some time but I guess its an acceptance that comes.

Thank you all, today I put him in the ground. I be lying if I said it wasn't very hard on me. I also shed some good tears in the last day or so when I was over his closed casket touching and running my hands over it last night. Today carrying him into church, then reloading him into the hearse and back out over his final resting place was extremely tough. Funny to me was I seem to be at peace as I watched him get lowered down and them put the top of the vault on. I decided to walk away and leave as the shovels of dirt were being dropped in

Again I thank you all, now I am heading to get a day or two of rest.

I'm sorry to read about your friend. I am sure he was a special person and very dear to you.
We will pray for you and his family. From our family, who knows
what they are going through (I lost my husband and my kids lost their daddy in 2000) please let them
know they are not alone and our hearts go out to them. He will be missed greatly but time will heal
