I had no intention of going to any garage sales this past weekend, but on the way to wash my wife's car (whipping sounds not appreciated). Stopping at a garage sale most people would shy away from, I noticed a stack of LPs.
Long story short I picjked up the following for 50 cents each,

Frank Zappa;
Hot Rats
200 Motels
Joe's garage Vol I
Sheik Yerbouti
Tinsel Town Rebellion
I offended someone
Orchestra Vol I

Beatles;
White Album
Sgt Pepper
Magical Mystery Tour

All in excellent shape with all the books, inserts and no scratches.

nice finds! Garage sales can be such fun!

Garage sales are what I do in the summer when I'm too sore from detecting to do any more detecting for awhile. ::)

So what are those White Albums going for these days? I think I'm the only person my age who didn't care for the Beatles, but I like to make a quick buck whenever possible so if those albums are worth looking for, I'm on it. ;)

There are a number of volumes on LP records and 45s put out by Goldmine. They can be seen for free at many Barnes and Nobles bookstores in the collectibles books section. I bought my copies at library sales for 50 cents and a buck apiece. Not the latest edition but works good for quick lookups. siegfried shclagrule

The last White album I sold was for $50 & sold a sealed copy for $300 (several years back). Ebay is about $15-$30.
