My hunt with Burdie UPDATE: Got pictures

Yesterday, I had the distinct honor to MD with Burdie, by Caldwell, Ks. Had a great time.
I was lucky enough to find a 1882 IH in pretty good condition, I'll post a picture later, when I figure out how.
Just wanted to say thanks and we'll do it again.

Re: Hunt with Burdie

I had a great time and the weather was perfect. We will definitely go out again. I had fun working the test garden and the mysteries that were not solved. Oh I left my head phones out in the rain to last night. What a doof I am. Please show that good looking Indian when you can.

Re: Hunt with Burdie

Hey, Sniffer, congrats on the find. You can always depend on Burdie to find something interesting out there. I'm still trying to get back that way. Burdie has been so kind as to agree that he will take me hunting. Of course, we WILL have to stop FIRST at the casinos.....gotta get some change first....LOL

Re: Hunt with Burdie

That's great sniffer! If it's the field I'm thinking of, it still has a lot of potential. Looking forward to the pic.

Re: Hunt with Burdie

it was to the east of the CTH and I think it would take a long time to search that site.
I would estimate about 80 acres.

Re: Hunt with Burdie

Would have thought that with the town name of Cladwell all you would have found would have been clad.

Re: My hunt with Burdie UPDATE: Got pictures

In my experience you cannot and will not find a nicer person than Burdie to hunt with. I wished he lived closer because I would love to hunt with him again.

Good job on your finds.

Honey you walked right over the spot he found it. Remember when I was helping you dig. It was there. Don't feel bad I hunted that spot three or four times. Must be skill since I don't have any.

honestly, you treat me like a pro. LOL I'm still learning my DFX, so it was total luck on that one.
But I do like the skill thing.
