My July Finds ........

[ivy_walls]

First of all July was the least clad I have found in a while. For one reason I have been more focused on areas that may produce older coins and secondly because it has been HOT in Indiana. My total clad was only $7.03. not too bad, but I wish it were more!! I did find 3 wheats in July, a '39, '42, & '49.

Next was something that is probably trash but is about the size of a quarter, but just a smidge larger. I have no idea what it is, what do you think ?

Also found some other junk. part of a cap gun, a thin lid to some jar maybe, a key, 2 watch parts, and two rings .....

Close up of one of the rings ....

And lastly the coolest things are the cars i found. one is a Tootsietoy oil truck from around 1940, and the other is a Hot Wheels 1975.

Thats it for now. Thanks for looking. August should be better, I have already found my first real silver coin. See you in September!!

You have some nice finds. I wonder if the rusted coin looking piece was a token of some sort that was made with steal.

Maybe a more aggressive cleaning on that object would help. Great finds.
