yes, you're seeing this right. Yesterday, I was in Kemmerer Wyoming. I went to a Quarry that was brought together by fishdig.com. It was a fossil hunting Adventure! I was able to keep 63 fossils that I found. The picture you see is the best one.

It is 1 ft long from head to tail. Without a doubt, my best find ever.

I have 62 other specimens, but it'll take way too long to post all the pictures.

Well, that's my find!

I would get some type of stand. You could probably get a custom made stand out of wrought iron by a local blacksmith or knife maker. You may even be able to find a stand already made but, I would display it in a stand on the floor. Maybe even make it a corner display. I tend to picture it on a black wrought iron stand. That's my opinion for what it's worth lol.

I'd just about give a lefty to find one of those! You'ra lucky person!

CONGRATS on a cool find.

That may in fact be the flounder I lost at Port Canaveral back in 1985 in the Nasa turning basin....

How it got to Wyoming, well.....

Superb specimen!

@peruna, I'm a fisherman myself. I get the joke, that is so funny!

@Sleepy, that is actually what I was planning. I was able to resize the fossil by cutting off the excess Rock, so now it is about 12 in by 16 in. I plan on putting the stand on my piano.

I'll either make a stand or find and buy one.

I'll post a picture of it when I display it.
