Hey guys. Been a few weeks since I've posted. Played hookey from work and was able to get out there for a cold December hunt. The first couple inches of soil were frozen but underneath was still soft and workable. Hunted an early 1800s house and popped up this 1835 half dime silver!!! Even with my small coil it just gave me a quick blip of 80s, similar to a tiny copper coil clipping. I ALMOST kept going. Glad I didnt!! This is my oldest silver to date, blowing away my previous PR of an 1877 seated quarter. Some other notables, 4 wheaties, a huge iron marble/ball bearing(?), kid's police badge and a silver plated frame. HH!!!
