Well got out tonight for a short night hunt I was trying a new program so I was digging a lot of trash.

I got a good signal by a tree and it was down 8-10" the way it was sounding I thought it was a deep nail when I got it in the light I seen the shield and one cent so I knew I had me a Indian head, at that time I could not make out the date.

I cleaned it up when I got home and seen 1886 That is my oldest coin.

not to bad for a night hunt.

Congrat's on the IH, and your oldest.

Congrats on your oldest, I always like finding those IH's if I can find just one its a good hunt in my book.

Nice IH......Matt

Congratulations on the IH penny. Now you have a new challenge... To find an older one!

Congrats on the IH. Good job using that new program. You have to dig some trash in order to find the 'good' stuff. Keep digging the trash and you'll be rewarded, I guarantee it !!!

Now go find an older one !!!

Good luck,

Brian in MA
