My only find today 1782 Reale Updated Pics

I went out today only for 2 hours. I wanted to check a spot I know and this 1782 Reale was my only find. I apologize for the first blurry picture that is before I washed it off. The others after I used normal water.Can anyone send me a link about this coin and tell me how I can clean some of the black off it without damaging it. This was the first Reale I ever found. The amazing thing was I used my DFX on a relic setting with some tweeks and it found this coin only in 2.5 inched of depth. I always figured coins this old would be 6 + inches. I guess I was wrong. Thanks for looking.

I would leave it black.

But if your desperate to clean it then lemon juice should be OK. Leave it in a few minutes, take out & rub with a soft cloth. Repeat as needed. I use it on Roman Silver coins sometimes.

It's so tempting to clean a coin like that, but I'd be nervous about it. Still, it would look a lot nicer shiny.

I dont find myself begging very often but please....PLEASE post more pictures of that coin!! I cannot see it very clearly and its killing me!!! I will agree its an awesome find and something to be very very proud of.
Was it in a grass field, farmed field, or what? Give us the scoop on this thing. Sending a HUGEMUNGUS ATA-BOY your way on the first!!!

That is a great reale. I have a 1786 that I found at 6" with my DFX. I did not know that it was a coin till I scanned it and zoomed in to see better.
