I carried a heavy relic that is around 30 pounds across a field yesterday and then today at work I had to use a screwdriver about 20 - 25 times turning and turning and now my wrist hurts bad.

But I MD'd with one arm and dug with one hand and pulled 1 penny, 1 nickel, 1 nail, and 2 pieces of wire today. Hurt too bad to continue :(

It may be hard to do, but take a break from detecting until your wrist heals..I had problems with my right hand last summer and had to lay off for a while..in time you'll be back at it..good luck and happy hunting!

It's just a sprain, I am in mid 20's so it can't be arthritis. But yeah I need a battery or electric screwdriver would be nice. I really wanted to go out tomorrow but should probably wait to heal.

sorry friend. you don't know how much you need it till it's broke down. give it a couple days rest, some ibuprofin, ice then heat in alternate. iv'e got a shot shoulder and it gets aching bad some times. but, it's hard to stop. get well. Bill
