Stopped at my favorite bank today and the teller that I talked to said "no halves today, but... Oh wait"

I hear him grab some coins... I hear the silver clink clink clink, but it sounds odd... Not like halves. More like LARGE DOLLARS!!! My mind was RACING!. All I could think was "my first Morgans or peace dollars maybe?"

He comes over and I see the FAT rims and he is looking them over. He puts them at an angle so I can see the backs and I see that unmistakable back. I had to hold back from jumping over the counter and kissing him.

He looks at them some more and says... "Hmmm.. These say silver and dollar. Yup they are dollars. Silver dollars. I figured you would like them so I saved them for you".

I hand him my $3 and he hands me these beauties... SCORE!

WOW - 3 oz. of pure silver for $3 - now that's a great score - a real dream score!.

amazing score! thats gotta get you excited everytime you'll go back to that bank!

I LOVE this bank. I've got Silver certs, red seals, a bunch of silver halves and now these.

They are all really nice and like me so they save me all the cool coins and bills. One of the tellers has $350 in $2 bills and asked me if I wanted them. I told her I only save the red or blue seal $2 notes. What does she do?>?>? She went through EVERY bill and pulled out the 1 red seal that was in there and saved it for me.

I think they earned some donuts :icon_thumright:
